Tibetan Gift Stores

In 2011, Ewam Sang-ngag Ling in MT opened three stores which help to support the Garden of One Thousand Buddhas and the International activities of its founder, Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche.

During April and May, the Ewam Sangha converted a garage at the Garden in Arlee, MT into a beautiful gift shop (side photo) featuring imported treasures from Nepal. During the summer, the store was bustling with activity. Weekly tours, visits from large groups wishing to sponsor stupas for their loved ones, and eager Garden supporters came to purchase CD’s, scarves, books, jewelry, thangkas, and much more! Visit the gift store at the Garden during winter hours M-F from 12-4pm and also added weekend hours during summer Sat/Sun 12-4pm.

About the same time in the spring of 2011, the Ewam Sangha found a lovely space available above Meadowsweet Herbs (next to Bernice’s Bakery) on the hip-strip in downtown Missoula to open a store and meditation/retreat center (above photo) which holds regular practices, events, and offers merchandise from Nepal as well. Visit the Ewam Buddhist Center and Tibetan Store at 180 S. 3rd St. West, Missoula or call 406-728-5555. In addition, the Ewam MT Sangha created an original product line named the Jewel in the Lotus to be carried in both stores including candles, soap, essential oil, Arlee honey, and healing arnica salve.
