SPONSOR A GROVE OF TREES OR LANDSCAPE PLANTS
Sponsorship opportunities are available to create a grove of mixed indigenous conifers and deciduous trees and shrubs at the Garden. Your tax-deductible donation will provide a peaceful, shady place for visitors to rest and enjoy the Garden. These groves will be part of the 1,000 trees envisioned for the landscape surrounding the 1,000 Buddhas, 1,000 Stupas, and quiet pond. The trees, shrubs and perennial flowers in a balance of shapes and colors will also greatly benefit the many birds and animals that visit the Garden.
You may also add a picnic table or bench on which to place a plaque with your personal dedication, your name or that of a loved one.
Here are some suggestions of ways you can compose your generous gift:
$1,500 Grove Donation:
We can plant 9 young (1 ½” diameter) trees arranged with 5 shrubs.
$5,000 Grove Donation:
We can plant 15 larger trees arranged with 10 shrubs.
$10,000 Grove and Landscape Supporter:
We can plant 15 larger trees and 10 shrubs in a grove, plus one flower garden (3,200 sq. ft.) with shrubs and perennials among the 1,000 Buddhas inside the meditation garden.
$200 Picnic table/Park Bench with dedication plaque for Grove Sponsorship:
Dedication may consist of 3 lines of 20 characters and spaces each.
$200-$350 Individual Trees or Shrubs:
These trees and shrubs will be placed in areas where they are needed for shade, windbreak and beautification. $200 Donation for 1 (approx. 1 ½” diameter) tree or shrub. $350 Donation for 1 (approx. 3″ diameter) tree.
Any Amount of General Landscaping Support:
Your donation dedicated to landscaping the Garden will help purchase, deliver and plant trees and shrubs, perennial flowers, landscape stones and materials to complete the vision of the Ewam Garden of One Thousand Buddhas.
