In early 2010, Ewam learned that His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet had accepted Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche’s invitation to perform the traditional consecration ceremonies once the Garden of One Thousand Buddhas is complete. The visit, to be scheduled upon the completion of the Garden, will be the Dalai Lama’s first official visit to Montana. Watch this site and the related blog for news as it develops.

The Garden of One Thousand Buddhas is being created solely through the donations of inspired individuals. With the resources on hand before Montana’s very short construction season, we can get a great deal of the infrastructure accomplished in 2011 and 2012 and advance toward the goal of the Dalai Lama’s auspicious arrival. His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people. He remained the head of state for the Central Tibetan Administration in exile until his retirement on March 14, 2011.
